In early 2025, Axel Automotive engaged Intronsoft to assist in and accelerate the development of Axel Automotive's vision for a conversational intelligence layer within Axel One in order for dealership executives, managers, and operational teams to interact with business data in natural language and receive immediate, actionable insights.
The result was Xpert AI, a conversational intelligence and insights platform that is fully integrated within the Axel One ecosystem. Users can now ask business questions, retrieve real-time information, understand performance trends, and receive contextual recommendations through a simple conversational experience.
By February 2026, Axel Automotive successfully showcased Axel One along with the first version of Xpert AI at the NADA Expo, generating strong industry interest and reinforcing the company's position as an innovator in AI-powered dealership intelligence.
The challenge
Modern dealerships generate large volumes of data across sales, service, inventory, finance, customer engagement, and marketing systems. Axel One had already unified this information into a single platform, yet users often spent significant time navigating reports and dashboards to find answers.

Implementation journey
Development accelerated in May 2025 when Axel Automotive retained Intronsoft to augment its engineering capacity during implementation of Xpert AI. To this end Intronsoft engineers work alongside Axel's in-house team to better understand dealership workflows, business terminology, reporting requirements, and user expectations.
Through iterative testing and refinement with Axel's product context, Xpert AI was optimized using real-world dealership scenarios to ensure accurate responses, meaningful insights, and a seamless user experience. Regular engineering coordination and iterative development cycles are enabling rapid delivery while maintaining alignment with Axel's product roadmap.
The result is an AI assistant capable of delivering business intelligence through simple, natural conversations with the first version introduced at NADA 2026 with ongoing development and improvements in advance of a broader launch in the coming weeks and months.
